well you could argue that this dicussion is several pages of a complete waste of space and since KVR actually have to pay for their database, it might be better used on useful information. Plus ReFX probably pay for some of this space through advertising and to be honest I would prefer not to shit where i eat / bite the hand that feeds me etc if i was in charge...

I paid £9 for a wedge of vegetarian pie the other day about 2" wide, 2.5" hight and 5" long. Did it need to cost that much? No. Was it tasty? Yes. Would I go back for another? Probably not. But there's plenty of people that would. But I'm not going to launch into a 3 day attack on the ridiculous pricing policy of gourmet food restaurants.

However I do seem to have been sucked into a 3 day rant about nothing in particular

Yeah, that cuts both ways. Bare in mind that the content on KVR, like all other forums, is mostly generated by the users, and the site owners benefit greatly from this "free" labor.

Hey dalor, I agree, any further discussions about the skins issue is pointless - it's all been said. I understand the backlash, as charging for skins was completely unprecedented. Of course people are going to take note on that. But, I think everyone agrees, like it or not, Mike can do whatever the hell he wants. People voiced their opinions on the matter, let him do with that information what he will. Topic over.

Were it possible to read my now defunct thread, you'd see that my intent was to actually provide a place for the discussion of NEXUS, not so much the stupid skins debacle. Although, I'm of the opinion now, like many others, that NEXUS in general has been beat to death until the actual demo comes out.

The deletion of any thread dealing with NEXUS, is another topic altogether, and possibly belongs in site stuff. However, all I'm after is some accountabilty and feedback from those who do such things, then we can continue on discussing NEXUS here. Poofing an entire thread with no warning or explanation does nothing, but engender more threads asking why. No one learns anything from that.

If you and the other 4 whiners who keep flooding the Instruments forum ever decide to get on with your life and do something productive maybe you can create a VSTi to compete with Nexus, make it skinnable, and sell it for cheap. But that's not gonna happen because you are never going to do anything productive. It is easier to continue cutting on other people to make your on pitiful existence seem a bit less worthless.
