psychicmodulation is surely a much overlooked but great option. imo nothing beats cerebrum as a pattern drum synth - and with v3 soon to be released it is even more attactive.

partly triggered by this thread... I found Boxsounds s16, a wonderful step sequencer, although it just plays one sample, but includes 24 patterns of 16 steps, tunning & ADSR &pan/vol for each step, and a global filter/delay/flange that can be applied to each step

For some reason everyone overlooks Majken's Grizzly, a truly awesome drum-sampler, very suited to both classic sounds as far-out ones.
And it's free!
And it's free!

Still wishing for something exactly like ReDrum.
PM's Cerebrum and Cortex would be 100% perfect if it had 64 steps like ReDrum. My cup would runneth over.
Seriously. I would not want for anything more.
But as far as what I like most of what I have?
I really like ErsDrums a lot, but on the other hand, I just plain have so much fun with Optik and Minimal.

Battery3 for sampled kits, MicroTonic for bleeps, snorts and tweeps. All my needs are covered with those two.
When I was younger I used to be in doubt. These days I'm not so sure.
