for the color mods? no, not at all. here's the process i used for the excited version:
copy the gj-maple skin folder rename it to gj-maple_excited
copy the gj-maple.oms file and save it as gj-maple_excited.oms
open the gj-maple_excited.oms file, and do global find/replace for text "gj-maple" replacing it with "gj-maple_excited"
save file
from windows explorer, sort by filetype, and drag all PNG files right onto photoshop to open. then simply drag layer set containing various adjustment layers on top, save for web each one as png to the gj-maple_excited skin directory, overwriting current.
that's it.
here is the PSD with the color variations if you want to try it.. simply drag the layerset you want applied from the layer pallete directly onto the opened up PNGs one at a time, and it will apply the modification
save each..

That would be great, the movement of the sliders is the *only* thing i'd moan about in Oatmeal.grymmjack wrote:btw, jakob added the horizontal=1 support to knobs, and gave me a dll to test. it works great just as i thought it would, and he actually mentioned that he was thinking of giving skinners control over the 'constants' for movement of the knobs (which i interpreted to mean the distance of travel required for a frame of animation/value adjustment) which would be FREAKING awesome because we could really fine-tune things.
Love that grey/lime variation, that could be the one for me...

Honestly? I don't like the default brown you've made. I wasn't going to be picky in the slightest, it's a good skin, I just have a preference for not-brown colours. :)
But since you're making different ones... I have to say I like the lower left blue one a lot. I liked the green one top right more first, but I've swapped. Either one look good to me.
In fact, I'm assuming you just changed the hues etc for them? If you wanted to get more opinions before you went ahead properly with different flavours, but it was easy to get those results, I'd be happy if you told me what you did to get them, and I'll happily do it myself to the .psd. :D
Thank you very much for the skinning grymmjack, your skinning efforts have really been great and have helped add to the general audio community, the way I see it. That's great, you are more honourable than I and I salute you.
