Sampletank:wet?

Hi fans of SR

some questions about UFO
1) Does anyone know what the UFO option Sampletank:wet means?
Is that to choose to have Sampletank programms with or wothout effect settings?
2) What would I need the option WAV / AIFF for?
I guess I can just leave it at the suggested setting AIFF?
3 Can I also extrace the "plain Groove Capsule" files (e.g. WAV or AIFF files) for use in GURU? I assume I'll have to copy the AIFF files by hand in order to have them?

1) I think "Wet" creates SampleTank programs that have effects enabled. I can check for you if it's important.

2) That's to extract the raw files as WAV or AIFF files. That way you can use them in other programs too.

What I don't understand is how to activate extraction for wav and/or AIFF only. The play button to extract something can only be pushed when a sampler format is selected. But when I select a sampler format, it won't be the plain wav/AIFF files that are selected?
Of course, the extraction of the AIFF files can be done by hand as well.

seems to be a compicated issue.

Next time: Just explain the menu options in the manual.
