not yet, but it's a planned feature. Both audio and midi drag n drop both directions etc. etc. If it's at all possible to drag midi from / to Live? Not using ableton live myself, but energy xt uses drag n drop extensively so I'll have plenty of use for this feature myself too.

unknown, and depending on a lot of factors. I have to admit, I'm more inclined to finish the osx version first. Make some money on this thing so I can justify working on it some more!

in europe, musicians tend to favor macs actually. I remember this show where the artist had her laptop crash on her 3 times and the audience were screaming "get a mac, get a mac". Macs are simply still perceived as more stable. The way I see it that's more or less a myth, kept alive by the fact that a lot of windows machines are poorly set up, both hardware and software wise and the fact that PC users have more software available, and this means more unstable software too... For the casual user (with a thick wallet) a mac will probably be the best choice. After all: Who needs all these excellent free VST's, Energy XT, SynthMaker etc. etc. anyway? (ok I know, people are different). When I can afford it, I'll probably be running Vista on a macbook pro

I'll use a mac for it's hardware (currently trying to find a macbook 15" for graphic design and like their hardware laptops (cam etc)..
As for music, well, too many free VST's on windows and besides, once you stream line windows xp pro, it's pretty damn sorted for music..
Both are good, and macs are there when the richer consumer says 'hmm, windows aren't as good, I'll go for a mac because they are better'..
Consumer arrogance and ignorance.

ouch...how did she handle this crowd? i guess i'm a little short fused, but my response would have been a "f**k you and goodbye"...even if it was an important gig. you just shouldn't mess with an artist and his/her equipment no matter how bad the night.ohm wrote:in europe, musicians tend to favor macs actually.
