Looks nice, but text is too small ( bigtime eyestrain )on my 15 inch monitor in 1024x768 and too large (can't see the status bar and load bank buttons)in 800x600 - back to Bigwite37red skin.

664 x 599 is very small on my big monitor (20" @ 1680 x 1050)

It looks great but actually I found it rather difficult to use - I kept having to zoom in on it

I would love something a bit bigger - say 830 x 750 (about 125% bigger)

those of you with bigger displays and higher resolution can make the modifications you want .. the photoshop files and everything needed is there. all it takes is some ambition and time. i'm not doing more to it.

nothing stopping anyone from taking what is there and making a 'enormous' skin.

cant win. when i polled around asking, everyone was saying it was too big, now it is too small, i give up

i like it and it suits me quite well on my 19" 1280x1024 flat panel, i'm sorry if it doesn't work for everyone i tried my best to give the most people a good skin. try modifying it. that's the entire reason i released the source documents, so you could DIY to make whatever mods you wanted.

I think it looks fantastic grymmjack, small or not. And if anyone has any gripes about it - let's see them do a better job themselves.

I like the slate , renoise and lime the best,

but there is enough for many different tastes.

yes, i remember having said that the GUi might be too big. I don't think that anymore, i like it the way it is !

Artvera's skins were the best (and are still great!), but this skin blows everything else away!

I know how you feel! My customers are NEVER satisfied either!

Seriously though this is a fantastic job and I may have a go at doing an upscaled version over the XMas hols.

its painful not to have time now to play with these now.
the various color schemes were a surprise! fookin fantastic! im am sure it will be a pleasure, in all those incarnations. your first is still the oatyest for sure.

fukkin great work, no doubt about it. and for one of the most deserving freeware gems!

jon; i'm glad the size is right for ya. i dont have a prob with it either, but was thinking if it's just the text, anyone could modify the PSD's pretty easily just changing the text -- it's all there, and then re-export to PNG format.

ah well, it's all good i seriously can empathize with the people who say it's hard to read, and though i'm sympathetic i'm not going to do anymore skinning on good ol' oatmeal for a long while.

hate mail is not always easy to take, but when you can handle it, it is just stupid great fun !

BTW, i used to use the smallest GUI on a 14400 x1550 (or something like that), so your skin is much more cumfortable (but not too big) and is really fine.
errrh... well... even if i ended up using the lime one !

My eyesight is not brilliant, I wear specs, and still have problems with small print......But I don't have any issues with this skin. I can read the labeling with no problem at all.
And if I can read it then people with normal vision shouldn't have any trouble!

"flavored" oatmeal skin, download more colors now (v37-4)
