From the web info, I gather you can have velocity layering in ManyOne but there's no mention of how many layers or how this is set up. Is this accomplished in ManyMapper? There's little info in the downloadable PDF. Are the sample layers named differently? Also, the PDF explains how to name your samples, but not notes that are sharps or flats. And what audio formats with loop points/markers will ManyMapper recognize? And one more... Is there a provision for release samples in ManyOne, such as piano damper noise or the harpsichord "ting" ? Thanks...
PS.. Is there a downloadable PDF manual for ManyOne or will there be a demo available ?

Hi
I think Greg is going to post about the mapper and explain that.
Basically all our addon sets already have the stuff velocity mapped and ready to go for you or you can alter it in the ManyMapper.
ManyOne is multisamples but it contains no velocity sets in the initial package (unlike some of the more detailed sets in ManyGuitar and ManyStation and our addons which do contain some ready to use velocity layered sets) but you can use any Velocity layered set in ManyOne or make your own.

Greg will answer your questions on the mapper details for making your own sets.

We hope to have a Demo version of ManyOne available soon, but it will only show the basic engine and allow you to be sure it works for you, as we cannot give all the soudsets (samples ) away with the demo version.
Thanks
Paul

Yes, you can definitely configure velocity layers in ManyMapper. This would either be by importing the soundsets or creating your own. You can also merge soundsets with ManyMapper, which is a useful tool if you want to make a multiple velocity layer soundset out of several soundsets.

The sample layers will all be within the same single soundset. The WAV samples inside of the soundset, however, should be named differently. I usually will name my WAV samples "soft C1.wav", "medium C1.wav", "hard C1.wav", and so forth. This way, since the samples get automatically sorted alphabetically when you start ManyMapper, the velocity layers will be grouped together for convenience.

If it's a G sharp, in the filename you'd write "G#", and if it's a G flat, you'd write "Gb".

ManyMapper will recognize standard WAV file loop points, but not markers (I'm not sure if that data is stored in a standard WAV file).

As of now I don't believe so.

Nice orderly response... I hope you can include ManyMapper with the demo as I'm really only interested in creating my own original sound sets and possibly translating some older original sets. Thanks
