Ok, what's the secret with Directwave? Everybody seems to be especially excited about this one. And to be perfectly honest, I never even heard of it until now! I just read the description here at KVR and at the FL site and couldn't really see how it would complement or replace any of the more common samplers out there. You guys don't have a sampler from before or am I missing something here!?

EDIT: Oh, I don't mean to sound negative btw! Reason I'm asking is the program is darn cheap on this sale so it would be cool to know what makes it so popular. Personally I've already decided to get the Juicepack. Certainly no problem seeing how useful that bundle will be!

geroyannis: you can always create a paypal account. You just enter you name & credit card and thats about it. You can use your paypal id to buy anything from almost anyone on the web and it's safer.

pekadan: i'm not flaming but my answer was a no-brainer.

simple example : i think if you even try to pitch a sample in one those "major" samplers (excl kontakt) you will definately understand why i picked this up. In the beggining i could not understand why my old akai samples sounded like that when i imported them. Another minor issue which is mostly my personal problem, i hate moving over dongles all the time from the studio to the laptop or to another pc, it's ok if your sequencer is on a dongle but sometimes i just want to open up a plug-in in a wrapper and jam away. I mean ok, i have to remember to get the damn dongle to jam with korg m1 (or even use halion) lol.

It's not just value for money to me, it's simplicity and efficiency.
