doru - i understand your anger and frustration but getting mad at bluey like that wont help

bluey - i also know what youre saying but if youd read the gearlist thread all the way through youd understand what went on - yes it WAS a bit naive of doru to compile his [attempting to be exhaustive] list of audio software out there from some warez site / cd directories but at no point did he say 'i use all these warez - come and get em' - it was more to do with language barriers and confusion that malice and piracy - i agree - it would have been better to just ask 'what do you guys use ?' than link to that list but there you go - lesson learned i hope

I've just received the cd and it is absolutely fantastic. No more collecting ssamples. Quality is brilliant aswell as being a bargain.
Yossarian, the little ghost notes are called flams?
SRF: There was a bit of witch hunt that escalated. It basically comes down to some 'over excited' kvr members getting feisty with someone who doesn't speak english well and inadvertantly dug himself a hole. He's not a warez user.
Bluey, i'm afraid you jumped a little bit without knowing the facts. Yes, you were hard. It's all too easy to tarnish someone these days isn't it. If someone hit you and then said sorry they thought you were somebody else, you would be a little pissed of wouldn't you?

Yes my friend ! And , with other words , you can obtain from only one snare , for example , other 40 , just decreasing the velocity ! Ofcourse , if you decrease velocity with 30%, you 'll enter in that zone , where you 'll find those soft little hits !
But this cd have and other tricks : for example , the snares has first grouped in various directories : power , metall , hip-hop, short , trance , agressive , classic , etc , and only after that has renamed and puted in the Snare directory ! So , if you 'll point with your mouse after 1-2-3 positions 'll find sounds from the same familly of snares , so you can easy create various dialogs between the snares , but if you want a totaly different sound , 'll point with your mouse after 40-50 positions to search in other familly of sounds ! ( I hope you understand my explanation !)! In this sort , is very easy to create hundreds of variations of your track in only few minutes !
And all 'll have different sounds ! Can imagine that ?

Here is only one problem : when someone receive the cd , must to spent a week only to listen all the sounds !!!

I probably shouldn't get too deeply into this since I'm not a drummer

but I've always thought that a flam is actually two hits in very close succession, like when you hit a tom or timbale with both sticks almost simultaneously.

To experimentfour : i re-read it the post which generated this confussion ! And now I can't understand from where (from what words of mine) has created this confussion !
Always i have the same problem - a dilema :If i use more words , my post income funny (because my bad english)! If i use only few words , peoples can't understand exactly what i want to say ! This is my problem !
What i can do ? I used nearly all my life to learn music (36 years from 43 how older i'm now) and because of this i haven't enought time to learn other things (like other languages)! And now , after 43 years ( and 2 heart-attacks) it's to late for me !

SORRY,SORRY,SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH , i make all i can do to remediate this ! Understand me and help me brothers !

To Muz : thank you my friend ! I'm happy every date when a musician tell me that he received the cd because i know , by now 'll be more easy to him , to compose other wonderful songs ! This cd give me only 3 $ proffit/cd , but my soul is so happy ! I am a very rich man because now i have many thousands of friends in entire world !
And thank you very much because you try to clarify the sings !

and peeps leave doru alone,everything was a misunderstandin,hes actually a great guy,if people keep having a go at him we could lose an important member of this forum
if you check every topic he ever started theyre all ways of helping us,this guy has spent the last six months doin nothin but drummin and trimming 8000 samples so we dont have to
and yes the cd is great,the reason i know this is a few friends already have it and recommend it highly
also his free samples are great too
as the man himself says check his website

his tunes are pretty good too

sometimes those of us that do speak english can read things wrong too
i myself just wondered how people could tell if a product was warez because i have never used any,dint know what they were talkin about myself

as the post above states the majority of us here realise what an asset you are,but some people jump in too quickly

but on the other hand i cant argue with their point piracy is wrong and people who do use warez should be flamed but DORU doesnt so leave him alone

We are all musicians , so , if things are clear now , please give me your hand and let's be friends ! Many times i read it very intersting things from various topic in this forum , but i hevitate to tell my opinion bacause i'm affraid to be wrong understood ! I use the dictionary , but my grammar is down !

do not worry about it DORU you just hve to understand that maybe arguing with people isnt the way to get it sorted
i understand you were upset,but in future if this kind of thing starts again and i suggest this to anyone with difficultys in english
if you think people are misunderstanding what you are trying to get across rather than arguing ask the moderator for help immediately,that way it never has to escalate

or DORU if you just pm me i will step in and see if i can iron it out
as you say lifes too short
