let me just say this synth is wicked. very very nice - has now gone into my regular arsenal.

one problem though, with every updated version i am crashing bad, whenever i load a project in ableton live 6 that has a previous oxytocin being used in it.
computer freezes and beeps and i have to power off. other than that, a++ !

edit: and one other thing, when Live is playing, I can't add Oxytocin to a new track. I have to stop playback and add it, then resume. Otherwise I get computer freezing too.

I just found this thread, so I thought I'd post a problem I had recently:

I was using FL Studio and had a great, laid back trance number almost finished. All I had to do was finish a couple touches and it was done. I was using Oxytocin (a late november version I think) for one of the lead sounds.

Then...FL crashed, and I had to do a hard restart of my computer. I'm guessing it's because of a bug in Oxytocin (which may have been fixed by now...I don't know). The message I got right before FL crashed was that there wasn't enough memory for it to run any longer.

Now, this shouldn't be a problem--I have a gigabyte of ram, and there is usually 500+ mb available at any given time, even when I'm using FL and loads of plugins.

Now, unfortunately, the project file is totally corrupted and I can't go back and finish the project.

I'm definitely not mad or upset about it, especially as it's been a while since this happened (so the bug might be fixed now). I just thought I'd let you know about it though.

But why are you sure that Oxytocin is THE problem ?

And if Oxytocin has a bug, It was a beta version, so you know that you do. Make backups before try new plugs !

Some friends of mine have tried Oxytocin with FL. It I remeber, it seems to me it was OK.

novaflash,
i can't open saved projects in ableton live that contain more than 1 instance of oxytocin.
i hope synthedit gets some of these issues sorted and we can have a more stable version of oxytocin! (actually, maybe you could just translate it to c++?

)
thanks again for the great synth, even if it does have issues. i'll post any other issues i have here.
(also, not sure if you have ableton live for testing or not, but i can possibly provide ableton live lite to you if you need it...)
