Organising a protest march this Friday Schlesische Strasse 28 ,10997 Berlin, Germany

Well, look, here's what I'm trying to figure out (and you must remember I'm pretty unfamiliar with the FL scene): on the "Register" page, I have a link for "Download over 2GB of HQ samples". That takes me to here, where there are a bunch of sample CDs. There is also a seperate section called "Samplefusion" on the left menu, which I clicked because that's what the DW menu says. This link says that their downloads for image-line users are down, but if you go back to the CD page, all of those CD's have "Zip" downloads. I'm just wondering if those are meant for Directwave and if the 2GB of samples refers to free samples for reg users or the full-price sample CD's?

Just trying to figure it out, no big deal.

the 2gb are for all registered users
but the full collection of samplefusion is over 9 GB

Right, so the 2GB is not available right now? Is that what they mean by the "zips are down right now" - or is the 2GB what you can download directly from the DW menu??

Post

the "zips are down right now"
is still here because they have not updated their site since they have puted the zip files back

the 2gb doesn't concern the DW files you have to purchase the samples CD directly to have them
but as some of the 2gb files are multisamples you can create your own DW files if you want

Cool, thanks. I'll drop it now. That's funny, some of the FL website's copy is out of date too. Like they say "Directwave will be available soon!".

That's fixed now. Thx for pointing it out.

As they are wav samples they can all be used in DirectWave of course.

If you're after actual DirectWave programs please use the downloader/preset
selector in DirectWave. The blue ones are the ones that you can download
as an FL Studio user (in the 2GB offer).

The actual sampleCDs are over 10GB by now (the SFX samples alone are over 1.4GB).

The 2GB are the ones free to registered users.

Actually the 2GB (I'll have to count again as I guess it's more by now) DOES concern the DW files as you get all the blue DW programs in the downloader as well :

I know it's a bit confusing but I hope to move all the samples to DirectWave programs one day.

Hey, thanks for all the responses, JMC, very helpful. For the record, this is what I was able to download from the DW menu:

Everything was grey after that.

Hey, JM, since some are "free to all", and some are "free to FL users", which are the ones that are "free to DW owners"?

I could have sworn some were of the latter category.
