from the advertisement and the specs, it seems like a hardware loaded with demos that i have to pay for to unlock and use.

what if i all ready have installs for various plugins i have aquired, and installed them on receptor?
are there places where i can store a sample library?

can i save presets i have made with my midi controller?

Plugorama.com is the official support website for the Muse Receptor:
http://www.plugorama.com/customer/home.php

That website shows which plugins are supported on the Receptor (not every plugin can be run on the Receptor).

Some plugins require a "crossgrade" to a Receptor-specific version of the product, while many plugins you already own may be installed via the "User Installable" method.

Everything on a Receptor is stored on its hard drive, including sample libraries. The easiest way to get stuff into the Receptor is using the "Receptor Remote" application.

Also look at the Muse Receptor Overview/FAQ section of the Muse website which answers the most frequent questions:
http://www.museresearch.com/receptor.php

Finally, you can download all of the manuals here:
