000-127 = slice
128-256 = slice
etc.
all the way through to 12032. this means there are 94 slices.
ok, so i've done a neat little work around. i set sonar up to snap exactly at 128 samples, viewed timeline in sample mode, and have created 94 individual clips.
now i want to export each of these clips in some automatic way to it's own wave file.
is it possible?
are there other programs to do exactly what i want? it seems trivial. i am not married to using sonar or keeping the clips in sonar format.. i'd use anything.
all the tools i've tried that do slicing and automatic slicing either require bigger chunks of data (128 samples isn't enough) and use time domain like measures, beats, ticks, or they slice based on the presence of silence between audio material parts.. my situation is unique in that i dont have any silence (not 1 single sample) between the audio data.
so...
"bounce selected clips to separate files" is the functionality i'd be looking for, and will google on now for CAL script.
thanks.
