Does anyone have this library? If yes, then I hope you can give me some of the details that's not available otherwise.

I don't need either the acoustic or processed samples, so then the question is whether the rest is worth buying it. Aside from the TR 808 and 909 kits what else is the electronic sounds section comprised of ("there's a comprehensive range of sounds from the best vintage beat machines" from samplelab.com), and for that matter how extensive/usable are the TR kits? I have the usual free 909, 808 kits and the 2 909Kick samples you can download (from samplelab.com) definitely sound better.

Hmm.. well, frankly, I didn't like the library. The acoustic kits weren't that useful to me compared to the Battery 2 (now 3) content that I have. The electronic stuff was OK but it seemed a little inflated. Similar samples with slight variations. I didn't get any use out of it for my breakbeat and big beat productions. For 808/909 I use FL and Stylus RMX and those work fine for me.

Then it seems like this doesn't really offer anything else aside from the 808 and 909 kits that I could use. An article on soundonsound.com says there's a nice collection of breakbeat samples, but if someone who's actually making breakbeat doesn't find them useful, then how should I? So I guess I'll skip on this one, but of course if there's anyone else who has a different opinion about this sample library, I'd still like to hear that.

I won't, not even with that 2 for 1 offer. Especially that the rest of the available samplelab CDs seem even less impressive to me.

good move - maybe pick up a copy of Bunker 8's Drumatic Percussives - much much better collection of samples
