very simple implementation of xhip's filter in a standalone format. it doesnt have envelopes, lfos, trigger detectors, waveshaping or any of that fancy stuff. this is just a clean and simple single stage envelope follower used as modulation input for the filter.

i didnt want to post in the xhip thread about this since more people who may be interested will read this post where i'm putting it.

enjoy! this will be part of the next release of xhipeffects. hopefully i'll implement very basic guis (optional) and fill out the implementation in some of the plugins.

i pledged never to post to kvr advertising my own plugins again, but that was a long time ago and i'm sure atleast a few people will be glad i'm posting this.

It's an excellent sounding filter. Surprisingly, a simple, straightforward envelope follower filter is relatively hard to come by.

Always excited to see the effects you put out, the reverb and gate are the ones I turn to most. Looking forward to the new pack.

Cool one aciddose.. I see that your plugs are great.. Cant wait to see what would happen if you were to lets say put together an audiosnagger plug??

Awesome. Ive been waiting for this to use on drums and stuff. Now I dont have to wait for audio input really on xhip! With a follower too. nice.

So for some reason I decided to give this thing a whirl, and apparently it's quite kick ASS! Nice touch with the frequency selection. It can make for a really cool ducking effect! It would have taken one hell of a situation for me to think about routing something to work like that. CHEERS!!

This is very nice. Ive tested it out a bit and its very nice on noise and rythemic content. BUMP! Really nice basic filter that I have always wanted as a tool for drums and such but never have been happy until now. So pick this up xhip peoplee
