Hey folks!

I finally found my Wacom stylus so I tried out and was VERY - repeat VERY - impressed with Tabet2Midi... I was messing about and looking at other apps like MonoTouchLive etc.

All that got me thinking about the possibility of getting one of those mini 10' touch screens you see - you know the in-car ones. Not 'too' expensive and could be cool - Anyone have any thoughts on using an 'external' touch screen with Tablet2Midi??? 10' enough to be usabe with fingers???

AlsoI saw mention of Touch Screen 'overlays' for 15' (and bigger) screens - they seem to be mostly avaiable in the US tho... anyone have more info on those overlays please???

Sorry if this has been covered before - Om new to Tablet2Midi and VERY excited by it :hihi:

Thanks foks!

if those mini touch screens are affordable, I'll get me one, and then I can promise you there'll be full support for dual monitors, etc. etc. sounds like the ideal way of using the app.

It shouldn't be too tough to implement - basically it'll be the same as running tablet 2 midi on a tablet PC. This will be added in the next version with the planned "full screen" mode.

Any good links for those screens / overlays, please post in this thread.

Thanks for the reply ohm!

That is FANTASTIC news - Im gonna have to do some research :hihi:

Here is a link to a blogger talking about overlays.

Here is an actual overlay for a monitor.

I had a thought of a 15' overlay with a normal LCD being Lemuresque :hihi:

Then there are LOTS of DvD touch screens for in-car systems. They seem to be in the €100-> range but 8' seems to be the most afordable. I had imagined one of these actually sittin on your lap as you tweaked away :hyper:

Thanks again for the reply - looking forward to some testing and off to purchase Tablet2Midi now :tu:
