Big Drum sounds used in film scoring

Hey, thanks everybody! This is a really good start. I had already listened to some Storm Drums loops and samples, but then I got really curious about whether these were actually some acoustic drums of some kind. I guess ultimately it doesn't matter as long as I can find or put together something I am happy with.
