Chicken Systems is the developer of Translator. ESC is different product by another developer. Both can do sfz-sf2 conversion.

Why convert? SFZ can use SF2 files directly.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Image

Maybe if he want convert the wav files to oggs, or 24 bit files? I know that SFZ is more versatile than SF2, you can use some advanced setting that i dont know, i suppose.

the problem is that SFZ from rgcAudio is unable to play correctly my samples, so I wish to try Highlife hoping that it will be able to play right them

how sad, I did try the demo but even Highlife is unable to play correctly those samples :(
seems like I will need to run the demo of Vsampler for some time more :( (it is the only sampler which plays my samples the right way...)

What is the problem with your samples in the other players?

VSampler is brilliant, by the way, if you want a commercial full-featured sampler.

strings instruments samples: the sustain drastically drops volume....

while Vsampler keep the note forever at the same volume level...

Try adjusting the sustain with cc control or try sfz buddy.

If you use sfzed to convert to sfz you can then use the editing capabilities of the sfz format to make whatever amp envelope you want.

It seems like there's a problem with your loop points not being recognized in the other apps.
