Basically to see what the problem is listen to this mp3. It should sound the same, repeating two notes all the way, but at a certain point a note starts missing every few hits. (Using max velocity, btw.)
Very strange, IMO.
I've already explained this "bug" in the sfz thread and in the Renoise forum. It happens with every host I tried, except Renoise 1.5 and sometimes (very rarely) it works with Renoise 1.8 as well. I guess it may work sometimes with other hosts as well, occasionally.
Also it happens with every SF player. (Some players don't even play this SF half properly.)
... so I think the problem (& solution
) is probably in the SF itself.I already tried to convert it from .SF2 to the SFZ format, but the problem remained, it didn't change one bit. At the same point, one note started missing.
I know nothing about soundfonts so I'm asking if something can be done.
