Click on the word audition, then use your mouse to sample each pad. :)

EDIT: as mrdr said :) I must be faster ;)

Nothing so far, as I said. It only has been quite quiet the past months. :?
Wasn't talking to you silly... I was talking to the person who started this thread, and asked if it is a "done product". :nutter:

I can confirm that a new version of Drumular is indeed in the works. This is a full version upgrade, not merely an update. Look forward to having more pads per kit, each pad several layers deep, each layer an independent oscillator, and synthesis type :)

btw--> Thanks for supporting us. 2006 was a good year for Redshift!

Oh, .jon, here's what needs to be fixed:

In the oneshot mode, you can't edit anything about the sounds. You just load up the sounds, that's it, no waveform editing or anything. What one-shot NEEDS to be is a rerouter: You select various PADS that the oneshot will re-route to depending on velocity. Also, it needs a random mode, where it just randomly re-routes notes to certain selected pads, or, if not randomly, then in a cycle. (Selectable.)

Here, let me try to be more clear:

NEW MODULE TYPE: ReRouter.
INPUT: A MIDI Note
PARAMETERS: MODE->VelocitySwitch,VelocityCrossfade,Random,or Cycle. A list of, say, sixteen pads.
OUTPUT: A trigger event to another pad with a definable velocity range.

Such a ReRouter would be FAR FAR more useful than the oneshot module.

Also, velocity to decay in all pad modes.

holy crap :o

velocity-switching drum synthesis reads like perfection to me :-D thanks for the info, Roy!

bengeorge, I agree and looks like they solved it already.

Nothing has been determined regarding the publishing of the product, yet, so the upgrade specifics, betas, release dates...all of that is to come later

Yes. Skins also. All of that is my responsibility, so...My fault! Kits are being developed right now. Feedback from the users would help in the types of kits that are made. So, what kinds of kits would you like?

Post

I've got a couple of kits I could post--a Casio kit, an acoustic kit, a CompuRhythm kit etc.

Kits I would like: More natural sounding acoustic kits.

Wouldn't mind more acoustic kits either
Maybe a jazz kit with a few brushes, a rock kit with beefy toms, just something more along these lines ...
Synthesis seems to be dealt with already. Some more single cycle samples would be handy as well I guess if the oscillators will be able to load them.

Post

some more additive and gdsm tricky kits please:)

Post

more old school hip hop flavor if you please :)

Post

One feature idea, ripped from eXT Sampler - MIDI input for setting pad keyzones... instead of fiddling with the slider, one could just press a note.

Feel free to send them, and I'll place them on the site. You may need to check back here for an immediate download link, though. The new site is in the works...
