Crashing in CUbase Se

Anyone had an issue with Many Station and CUbase SE. I just did the install had it crash. I thought that I may hav ehad an issue witht eh wusik engines so I unistalled Wusik and Manystation, rebooted and then reinstalled. I started SE and noticed that I could see any presents from Manystation and then when I switched VST's cubase crashed again. Oddly the Manystation info created a wusik folder in my vst file is this normal? I thought that I followed the read me and the computer is a P4, 512 that should be an issue. I off to reboot again and try a reinstall.

It sounds like you had wusik installed so that is why you see a wusik folder ...But try this.... Because you had something installed you may need to use the Wusik registry cleaner before you reinstall.jasmeece wrote:Anyone had an issue with Many Station and CUbase SE. Also remember that Wusik and ManyStation sounds need to be installed to the same location. When you open the vsti the first time it will ask you to point to the sounds. See the install guide also if you need help.

Thanks I may need to use that. Everytime Itried to install it created the same wusik folder no matter where I said to put the data Felt like w Reg issue I fianlly gave up and on the last install where I just went ahead an pointed the data where it was going to install anyway. I will let you know how it goes. THe presets we strange though I could see them but many station couldn't so I should find out here in a minute or two

If you had wusik version 1 presets then will not show up in version 2. There is a convertor in your start menu if you want to convert your old presets. The ManyStation ones (over 700) will show up and are ready to use though without the convertor as we converted them already for you, so you should see them in the new browser.
And yes sounds like you had a key in your registry already for Wusik so use the cleaner first.

Hello Paul and John. I'm WilliamK, the support tech for the WusikEngine, which Manystation is based on.
Sorry for all the problems, but I'm pretty sure we can help you getting Manystation to work.
1) UnInstall any Wusikstation or Manystation version you got.
2) Download and run this tool:
http://www.wusik.com/download/WusikEngi ... leaner.exe
3) Install Manystation from the start again. Install the DATA files FIRST, ok?
After you do, install the VST files.
Start Cubase and let it re-scan the VST folder. (you may need to force a re-scan)
Let me know how this goes.

Ok I un installed it reinstalled in rescanned it about three times Strangly enough it will work on the many station multi out IF I have a lite copy of wusik installed? With out it is does not want to work. Also the many station does not want to work just the multi out that seems very stable. I have also been in my registry more times than I ever wanted to and wiped out reference every refernce to wusik. I dont get it but it seems to work well enought to look at the program for now

Also, forgot to ask, but what Windows version are you using? Did you login as Admin?

If you have crashed Cubase
You should also delete the VST plug inf in
Document and settings...application data/steinberg/ Cubase -
vst plugins (XML document)
Then Cubase rescans all plugs it will continue to crash if you dont,
It goes for all plugs not only WS.

OK I will delete and rescan
Also I am using XP pro
I think thatI have it working now albeit I am nervous of it but it seems to be alreight i haven't had a lot of time to try it out
