Sweeeet!!... this could be the "dream" drum plug with a couple sample slots, and a pattern lane of 16 to 32 beats!

Pattern programmers in Drum plugs useless? Er, well yes you can use the piano roll/matrix, but a dedicated drum programming grid in my experience has generally been faster, and easier to use than a grid designed for note entry.

I find that simple step sequencers (like the one in the DK+) stimulate my creativity.
For serious programming I'd use the pianoroll.

The problem with this system is that you haven't updated my email details in your records! I sent you some emails a while ago asking you to change my details but you never replied. I sure they probably just got lost in your spam filters or something but I would like to take advantage of this offer! I can see the offer if I used my old email address but I don't have access to that account any more (I've switched ISPs).liqih wrote:just enter the e-mail you used to order DK+ or Many One

I just wanted to quickly post and say that Aldo very promptly fixed my email problem. Great customer service, Thank you Aldo. You'll be getting my order for DKS next week (after I get paid!).

We were thinking about an 8 mono outputs version some time ago -- with no built-in mixer or effects.
How many outputs should DKS have?

8 mono outputs would be great. If there is an 8 mono or stereo output version I will buy DKS.
I could care less about the built-in mixer or effects. Its much easier being able to mix in my host without having to open DKS to adjust drums separately. As for FX, most hosts come with plenty and then there are all the free ones..
I tried the microtonic demo as well. I thought it was neat how all the kits have programmed beats for the previews, so you kinda have an idea of how the kit will sound before loading it. Also, i was impressed by the large amount of kits compared to the 15 with DKS.
But DKS really does sound awesome. The only thing holding me back are the lack of outputs.

But MicroTonic has only TWO outputs... anyway, there will be an 8 outputs version.
More drum kits, sounds and ramdomizers are coming. We are going to release them by the end of the month. I have to say it again, but please do not understimate the power of the patch generators ("intelligent" randomizers) -- they are worth more than drum kits in my opinion (and according to many users).
Kit preview... we are adding a MIDI player engine to DKS so this will be possible very soon.
