I was looking for a sound and just couldn't quite put my finger on what I wanted... downloaded the Angelina trial, thinking that was on the right track...
Yup, that was it! It'll go nicely with Cheeze Machine and some other things I'm putting together for a "slow" project (chord sequences for spotaneous worship music).
Already bought, paid for, and registered...
Doug, wondering what some of his other synth-toys will sound like through Angelina FX...

I had checked out the demo some time ago, and I knew it would be the perfect voice for the chorus of a song a friend of mine was writting, so I went out and bought it. Boy, it fit like hand and glove! (and the song was originally meant to be traditional greek style music, with two bouzouki, guitar and tambourine
).
But Angelina has a majot drawback. More often than not, I find myself jamming with her(
), playing randomly rather than putting down ideas. Being extremely incompetent with the keyboard, Angelina complements my playing sooo much!
Seriously, I enjoy playing with almost all Vstis out there, but there are some I have a soft spot for, and Angelina is definetely one of them!

Yep, Angelina has a *beautiful* sound, but I find that one thing really puts me off of using it - the volume.
Whenever I want to use it, I always end up having to put it through rubytube, just to get a decent level. I know it's made to sit in the background of a mix, but it would be nice to have a little bit of a boost as standard.
Does anyone else find the level a little low?
Cheers,
Dave

Right. I'll release an update with a "default gain" registry setting (like Rhino).
