The built in mixer and effects are great if you want to use the same kit in another project or another host.
If your host supports it (energyXT does), you can unlink the 3 stereo outputs and get 6 mono. Then you can set the sends to prefader, pan the pads hard left/right and turn off the effects. Now you have 6 outputs for you to mix in your hosts mixer.

My wishes:

1) Bigger, clearer, more logical delay controls (to be frank I think the controls there now are pretty confusing)
2) 32-step pattern grid. Either 32 steps or forget it - 16 steps allows only a very simple rinky-tink pattern, or means you have to start chaining patterns which means you may as well use the host anyway...
3) Better sound wizard patches for the effects

Love the pink noise too - with the filter you can get some real beef in the bottom end

To the few users experiencing crashes when loading DKS in SX3 please try running the first diagnostic version of the DKS and send us the log file produced.

None of our betatesters ran into this problem, so please help us finding this bug!

The file works only if either the demo version or the full version of DKS are installed on your system.

About outputs:

I'd like to see a user configurable output section (like in Linplug's RMIV).

In any event, I think the minimum options for outputs, if you are going to tinker there, are:

-Stereo Out (the beta's had this)
-Master Stereo + 2 Stereo Aux (the release version has this)
- 8 Mono + 2 Stereo Aux

"ultimate" until the next DKS update, <grin>

BTW I think that we could manage to have 3 versions as pw suggested,

personally I'd use the one stereo out the most, as Branis said the DKS mixer allows a portable finished kit,

but of course it's good to have 8 outputs
for more elaborate mixes

I too would use the plain old single stereo out the most, as the effects on board are great and about all I need for synth drums.

But, as for the implementation of different out configs, I would like to be able to re-configure in one .dll, not three seperate ones (again, see RMIV for what I mean, you can change the output cofiguration on the 'back panel').

A quick note to all the DKS users.

We have just released an update for DKS (VST/PC only).
A new demo version is also available.

The update 1.0b corrects all the issues reported before and adds two new types of noise to the noise generator!

A Mac update will follow shortly. All the DKS users will be informed by email as well when the Mac version is released.

I love the sound of the DKS, however... Has anyone else noticed a quiet hum with the DKS. It's sort of the sound of and unbalanced cable's noise, very quiet. It's not the white noise that reminder of the demo, but a constant low hum. This is the only thing preventing me from buying the DKS right now. Is this normal? Any way to get rid of the noise? (sounds like it might be generated from the internal FX processors...? That's all I can imagine is causing the noise... It sounds like an analog noise, but the plug is obviously entire digital, so any sort of unwanted noise is VERY ODD)

Anyone else notice this? Am I crazy? How can I fix this? (again, it is NOT the "DEMO version" white noise reminder) If this other noise to which I refer also goes away after registering, and someone can guarantee that it will go away, i will purchase RIGHT NOW.

yes,there is some noise -80db.

LOGIC on a MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo. 44KHz. I have many different plugs from many different companies and have never heard this type of noise before.

It could be a low constant noise that Aldo put into the Demo Version. I know we are doing this with him on the upcoming ManyOne Demo. There will be a constant low noise then a few white noise bursts. This prevents demo testers from sampling the output of the demo and making a bank for another instrument etc.

But, wait until Aldo confirms this though, I am sure he will be by soon enough.
