IMO it is so lame i can not believe it. Came from well know prop. guy called "blank". copy paste from board:

Reason's so-called "competitor" FruityLoops is developed only for the Windows platform, and written in Borland Delphi (therefore impossible to port to Mac). In Delphi you can write stuff very quickly and effortlessly. Props, Ableton, Steinberg and everyone else who writes real applications uses C++. Also, FruityLoops has been around since 1997, and Reason since 2001, so no wonder FL is on a higher version number.

So when you say Props should be on version 7 because FL is, it's like saying I should be able to manufacture 12-year old single malt whiskey instantaneously, because you can open a bottle of Coke in only 5 seconds.

I mean wtf? Is this answer. Did you notice "Props, Ableton, Steinberg and everyone else who writes real applications uses C++" elitistic shit.

Funny is how company wich claims that is not "me to" company put it self in "me to" bandwagon with all others. And what this does mean? If you create app in Delphi then your app can not be considered like "real". So what is real?

What a maroon. No, sorry. What an ass. "My tech's bigger than your tech" and Platform Wars went out with freakin' hula hoops. If a program works, does what it says it's going to do, and makes users happy, it's a good program, no matter what language it was written in or platform it was written for.

So be it. But this is not point in this subject. I am refering on his answer. And arguments on that answer. C mon. You can not say that is right to put something few steps down just because it's written on something else. Phew...

Hmmm... I don't think that "blank" is a regular P'Head employee, so that's really misleading - IIRC he once did a commercial that they hired him for, but he's not on their ongoing staff

As such these are HIS opinions, not necessarily those of P'Head. He posts regularly and freely... precisely because he is not on their staff.

Pretty funny for a guy talking about 2 programs that are both essentially just toys anyway.

At least FL Studio, can record audio, send midi to hardware synths, and host VST/VSTis!

He is working for them. Just read past few week posts. He used to be moderator. Now this is job from Ola. He is something else in phead now. Can not remember what.

A lot of people speculate that he works for them based on circumstantial evidence, and I've seen a running joke there about him being a P'Head employee ... Do you have proper evidence?

If he actually does work for them, then he's seriously breaking their company policies...
