I am afraid that just might be...

I really don't NEED it, but damn, the WANT factor might win out in this situation.

Oh... well, yeah that's it. (mofo's ruinin' my surprise! They aren't supposed to post the news yet.)

So, Miroslav Classik. You've got a nice cut down version, full features and even cut down it is STILL more material then the original library that sold for around $4,000. Don't say we didn't give you anything.

(sorry Funky one, it's not free but close enough).

Angry messed up post deleted by the way. Kind of strange animosity eh? Maybe it's a competitor! Haha.

Cut down is good - especially maybe for lappy users. And the price puts it in the same price league as the low-priced libraries out there like GPO, etc. Oh, but I bet that was the idea. :D

That's cool that this will make these sounds more available to some now. Cheers!
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

Any hope of keyswitching in this millenium?

;)

I finally get around to ordering the Gold ReFill bundle somewhat for the included "Silver" ReFill and now this.

I have five MIDI ports on my REASON box and mostly use it as an external sound module for the sequencer on my other box. For different articulations I clone my tracks, delete what doesn't go where, and use the four MIDI busses in REASON. That's my workaround for keyswitching. I still find the NN-XT to be the most CPU friendly RAM based sampler around. I modded my REASON.exe to be largeaddressaware and have 4GB of RAM. It takes a while to load all the samples but it works.

Clever marketing idea....
I wish VSL would come up with a low cost version of their Vienna Instruments.
Hey squids. Would you go and visit them on their NAMM booth and tell them to follow your guiding light? :hihi:

Actually, isn't Kontakt 2.1 the low cost version of VSL? There's an entire VSL library there, though nothing nearly as inspiring as MIRO. I was never impressed enough to buy the full version...
