Does anyone have any comments on how well Rhino2 and Receptor get along? Or if Rhino2 will run under Linux with some kind of wrapper?

Ok, I'm looking at various options to get my favorite VSTi off my computer so I can use them with a hardware DAW. It *looks* like Rhino2 is in the "unsupported but works" category...
Does anyone have any comments on how well Rhino2 and Receptor get along? Or if Rhino2 will run under Linux with some kind of wrapper?

It does work - but you'll have to use the receptor version available for download in the users area. And you won't be able to use skins for custom fonts.

Cool, that'll work fine for me! I just want to get my Rhino2 on to something that I won't end up having to run Vista on someday...!

It works, but there is a GUI problem which means sometimes you'll have to restart Rhino.

Kermit, have you used the "receptor version" in the users area ? It should address the GUI issue...
