Trying to use some synth samples i have i opened halion and when loading for example, the sample says AcidSync-A02_F2 i assume that it means it was recorded on F2, well i graged the sample to F2 in halions keyborad and realize that it sounds different sound in another tone sounds, different from the browser's play por preview. im not into using samplers so maybe im doing soemthing wrong.
I hope i got my point clear and can get some help or advice.

It could be the note is A2 with F2 being something like velocity info... But can't you tell what the note is you hear in browser preview? There's only twelve of them

Image-Line DirectWave has a built-in "Pitch-ti-mator". It works really well. I urge you to look at DirectWave if you haven't already. It's worked wonders around here at least.
