er bpm isnt really relevant for my "solo" set, the heavy pitchshifting and granularising of anything remotely timable(is that a word) is obliterated by intent, its an ethos thing i guess :hihi:
oh and one other small thing  its a little "v" for vurt :)

the capital v makes it look all authoritarian to me, like some kind of fascist v is for vendetta type thing, little v looks endeering and approachable, like a teddy bear.

Wouldn't I also be a bit more cool as 'ADJ' then aye?

sorry vurt, little v it is,

I can get an idea of B and B's locally if you guys need a room

I would suggest people bring midi cables if you need to sync up, I know of 2 other guys who will daisy chain off midi clock. The majority of folk seem to be going free of timecode/bpm.

The local BBC may make an appearance, I'll know more later after the interview.

Due to the number of performers I think we should have a continual performance but still have around 5 distinct sets so I may need to announce the start of each set (probably using text to voice/vocoded/distorted not boring stoke voice)

Folk need to have a limiter across their outputs because if not, the FOH engineer may put a compressor across the main outs which is pretty shit and we lose dynamics, at least our soft limiters can be individually controlled.

I'll keep folk posted!

I've had another meeting with the guys from Different Class productions, they have got some serious DV hardware to film the event and will produce a series of 30 second adverts, a 3 minute trailer and a 10 minute documentary.

I've heard today that there was folk at a gig in manchester yesterday talking about the bITjAM!

The interview at the BBC was prosperous, they are very in favour for the success of live improvised electronica in the Midlands and will attend in the near future!

There maybe 10 plus performers so I may need to organise the sets a little, I'll let folk know in time. There may have to be a limit of performers at any one time and/or frequencies/panning positions.

There's a possibility of an overseas special guest soon!!

Fat cats is a lucky upgrade, it's a basement venue with visuals, PA and FOH man, it's got the perfect feel to it you could lose your mind in there! Capacity about 150, nice and cozy. I may have to bring some type of platforms we'll see.
