GSCW-kits from GIRO are among the very best. Do a search for the link.

+1!!! There are NO better heavy acoustic drums than GSCW-kit for free. The natural studio free kit is nice, but the snare is splatty and doesnt fit well in the mix.. BUt is a nice kit none the less..

I just posted this elsewhere, but here it is.

There is a good drum kit available at kara-moon.com and also when The Audio Garden is launched(soon), the Mats Helgesson drum kits will be available there. Some very nice stuff. Also, you can try nskit.com and get their free kit. Add to that the GSCW drums(don't remember the link), and also EasyRider and RuffRider, and then the First Aid Kit. That should be plenty of acoustic kits to get you started. Sorry, but that's what I deal with is acoustic kits.

Just google any of the above and you will see them. I can post links later(gotta get some rest now) if you can't find them. Sorry if these don't fit what you want. Just trying to help!

there's also this one http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=162300
which imo has much nicer hi-hat samples than GSCW despite its tiny size (which has been my goto-set before - now I sometimes mix both of them when I need more punch) - please regard it as being totally belonging to the public domain - communist that I am I didn't even include a boring readme... :hihi:
