I have to imagine that this question has been posed here before, but I'm not going to apologize :P . So, since many of us love "list" threads, let's hear 'em!

I'll go first:

DimPro, Kontakt2's library, Philharmonik and my Sampletekk pianos (Rain Piano, Old Lady, Emperor and 7CGjr).

Others that I use less, but still use are Kompakt, GPO and ST2XL.

Essential Sample Library:

Self-created, from shortwave broadcasts, DVD's, TV recordings, opera recordings, and etc., etc.

Whenever I get a tool with a bundled "sample library", i delete it. There is no substitute for creativity when it comes to samples.

What is "Smoker's Delight" all about?

Post

I use many self-recorded outdoor- and indoor-recordings (poor equipment, thus not too good quality), voices of friends and so on. Bought collections are only those 2 incredible good ones:

- Early patches

- Banchetto musicale,

early and old instruments which can be used for many experiments in your sampler too,

both from HERE.

Besides of these I downloaded tons of soundfonts and other free samples, and the ones Kriminal mentioned are indeed great. Ah, and Orion Platinum has some very good ones too in the package, so I got these too as I bought Orion Plat some years ago.
