Well, I've got a PMD660 that has the preamps modded but is only 16bit. It's pretty portable, but I prefer 24bit A/D converters (even if it does mean more weight).

Heh dunder. I've got a thing in my head that always says buy a new mic instead (with a built in highpass filter).
