I'm using Beatslicer with FL Studio (Fruity Loops), trying to clip small samples out of songs from a CD track. It works great if I let Beatslicer export ALL the slices it marks, but then I end up with a zillion files I don't want. So instead I want to just export the one slice I'm actually interested in.
The problem is, when I export just one slice, most of the time it doesn't work in FL Studio. The .wav file that gets created sounds just fine when I play it, but when I use it in FL Studio it gets played super-slow (and downpitched way, way down). What's going on?

in the SMP area of the samples's channel hold ctrl and left click on the following knobs :pitch,mul,time in the time stretching area.and also select Resample if Auto is selected.the control click thing wil reset thoes knobs .you wil find out witch knob is guilty and then you ll only reset that one each time you bring a new sample in
