After some years of making music only at a hobby/fun kind of level, I now want more out of it.
Over time, I have bought myself some hardware, but I have a feeling that I could get more out of it with the stuff properly set up.
I turn to you guys for help.
What I hope for is a full guide of how to set up my hardware. Maybe even suggestions about what to keep, sell or exchange for something else. Preferably as cheap as possible, but not if it gives crap in return.
Here goes:

Well, the mixer is the central point in any studio. So everything that has audio inputs or outputs should go into or out from the mixer. (but having seen this compact mixer, I guess you'll have to rearrange some plugs if you want to use some other gear)

Some outputs should go to the BX5a monitors, and some outputs could go back into the FireWire Solo interface for recording. How is this currently set up?

The two synths could be triggered by midi tracks through the Midisport interface. Do you fancy Sonar or Reason, and for which (ehm) reasons?

How do you like that Virtualizer? How do you normally use it? Is this a candidate to sell, or does it beat the software reverbs you have?

Since all can be done in the PC these days you could sell all the hardware. But I happen to like hardware...

How is your gear set up now?

Thanx for the replies guys! I haven't been here lately and I am currently at work. When I come home I'll get right on it and let you know how it's currently set up!

As an answer to BertKoor about Sonar and Reason, I use Sonar6 as my main program. Reason has no audio in, and I want to record my Nord Lead (and guitar later on). I occasionally rewire it. When I get myself a laptop, I'm gonna use it there for sketching out ideas on the go.
The Virtualizer is great for offline sessions with the guitar and the Nord Lead. It's a keeper, but I don't have to have it included in the studio setup.

I'll post again later...

Hmm, I cant get my answer posted. Keeps telling me it's "spammy"! I'll try later.
