No, it was regarding the original.
Although, regarding the Pushtec: try to look at phase graph with the phase knob set to invert (it's an 'almost instant' house sound).
Btw.: who is the real coder ?

Good question. I'd like to know that as well. He once asked me to help him out coding that plugin. I gave them my complete VST framework and I even compiled the WinAmp version for them. I also uploaded the version to WinAmp, but I don't get any credits from them. Not too bad, because otherwise people might think that I was responsible for the DSP stuff, which I was not! I only provided some help and that's the reason why I also not comment the plugin's quality.bool wrote:Btw.: who is the real coder ?
Um abraço,
Christian
P.S.: I finally released the VST plugin framework at sourceforge (see here). This contains a simple graphic EQ example which contains the filter class I sent to the guy called Leonardo (I doubt that it is his real name though).

Don't have a UAD-1 to test it against their emu, which I'm sure is fantastic. So jealous of you UAD-1 guys.
Anyway, should I post results here, or in a new thread?

I have to agree, i just found it and I'm very pleasantly surprised.shamann wrote:I love it, too. I was surprised actually how much I loved it, since I have lots of really good EQs already. But this one sounds very nice. Haven't got round to comparing it against other EQs yet, I just really like its style.

hey guys
yup an OSX version is planed and it shouldn't take too long (whatever that means) however Leonardo is currently swamped with work so it could take a tiny bit longer then we expected
with regards

B and C has sharper transients. It's obvious. What are you trying to prove though? I don't understand...bmanic wrote:Here is a small demo about non-linearities. One file is the basic track and the other has added non-linearities to it. I tried to match the volume as carefully as I could. The frequency response has also changed a bit, this is only natural as most analogue devices do not have perfect frequency response (nor does my RME card either for that matter!). I actually made this little test for myself already several weeks ago but I'll post it here just as an example.

Using proper ABX testing software is recommended although I don't find this that subtle at all.
Cheers!

Edit: one more example thrown in to the test.. on second though, maybe all these are a bit subtle.
