I just wanted everyone here to know that their upright bass absolutely kicks ass. It seems there is a mistake and it is still for sale (so grab it quick).
I've had the pleasure of owning and playing some really good upright bass samples, and to me this is the best. The same goes for their Sitar.
keep it up.
and before I get a heckler, NO THEY DIDN'T PUT ME UP TO THIS.

Yeah, I really like it, too, though I'm still waiting for the Halion/Kontakt version to be available. Up till now I can only use the Soundfont which sadly seems to be missing some upper velocity samples on some notes...

Hi Guys
Thanks so much for the comment dusted, I know we never put anyone up to this kind of stuff, so it means a lot to read a positive post that talks about our sounds. Thanks again!
Still trying to get the Kontakt version sorted here. Bear with us, it is underway.
Again, Thanks to you guys for the posts!

Whats that? We surely have no reports of any samples missing in the Soundfont version. What exactly do you mean and what are you using to play the soundfont version? It should be exactly like the other versions in terms of samples and velocity mappings so I would be interested in hearing what you are experiencing. I have had no reports of this and we have sold a number of Soundfont versions.be wrote:Yeah, I really like it, too, though I'm still waiting for the Halion/Kontakt version to be available. Well, I use Battery 2 as my sampler, which of course is not ideal, I know, but its my only sampler yet. And as you say there are no reported problems with the Soundfont, I had an idea and just loaded it into sfz and those missing notes are in fact there (not missing, that is), so it was just some translation error in Battery 2, I guess...
Looking forward to the Kontakt version, but since there might be some problems importing that one properly into B2 as well, I wonder whether I could just get the 24Bit Wave files in order to build my own B2 patch? That would be nice!

Hi
Ahhhh.... just what i thought, that being an import function on other software that cannot translate an SF2 properly. Well you know that we cannot do anything about that, as that is a Battery issue and needs Native Instruments (NI) support. As you say the files are there and load into most Soundfont players properly.
Also....about the Kontakt and the wave files in 24 bit. Being the "nice" (hehe) company that we are, we are planning on releasing the Kontakt version with the 24 bit wavs included for those that wish to remap in other formats. We won't hard code the samples.
Everybody wins around here
Just give me some time to complete the massive plate in front of me.
Anyways, I am glad to hear it is not a problem with our Bass.
