ESI Near 5, Tascam VL-X5 or Alesis M1 520?

What is A ESI Near 5 monitor.Can somebody please show me a photo, website or namebrand cuz I'm also trying to upgrade my Monitors.KRK V6 and JBL 4208.Can someone please help me please..

Uh...a 5" speaker would be a downgrade for you, my friend.

Should I continue with the JBL and V6 or what do you think is better?The Yamaha HS80M,HS50M or what?

I think the first question is, what do you think is wrong with what you've got now? Any reasonable monitors will do the job if you train your ears to their quirks.

I would look at Adam, Genelec, Dynaudio and Mackie.

The KRKs I have had them for almost two years.I always keep having problems with the hi frequencies from 10hz up and the Lows from 100hz down.Those frequencies are always over emphasized.The JBLs are old but still sounds good.The V6 hurts my ears.
