Hello,

As far as I know, the "ARTificial Drums & Percussion" has been in the upcoming list for a long time. It has already been used in other instruments demos.
I'm just wondering why it's not available yet, as it seems to be ready.
Just curious.

Hello!
Yes some material has been ready for a long time but I have not yet decided if I should release a smaller set or adding more material so it's getting bigger, and other projects has been in-between. That is the reason for not releasing it yet.

My ears always perk up when I hear the ARTificial Drums & Percussion used in one of your demos. I'd really like to get my hands on it, even if it's a smaller set.

We are almost ready now to release the "ARTDP" collection. It will be 4 kits 5 octaves of samples in each kit as our previous releases; "Ethnic RnB" and the "Treated Drums".
Watch out for our announcement later this week.

About those drums,
I regret that there are so few details on the site's page, AND that the available demos are not specific and have many very prominent other PS's instruments in them...
This leaves me rather unaware about the qualities of this lib and what I can expect from it.

Could you make a(n even short) 100% artDrums demo, and/or write down the keymapping of the kits ?
i'd like to be informed if possible in the next days, in order to take advantage of a "customer's special" that i received today !

I will try to find time this weekend to do some basic grooves demonstrating the ARTificial sets. There will be more demos later on containing them but I agree that some pure examples are necessary to get the idea of the sounds.

Thanks for your reply, I'm looking forward to them.
I guess you can ideed use very basic grooves, even maybe some midifiles that you may tweak just a little bit : this is way more to get an idea of the sonic potential than for having a top notch demo !

I went back and listened to the avaliable demos, and I have to say that what I hear sounds good. My favorite are those ambient "booms." Nice.
