I'm looking for good MIDI groove libraries for my drum sample collections.
I use Variable ambience drums (multi velocity layer sampled drums) and Konkrete drums (weird sound design stuff) from Soniccouture in Kontakt 2.
I've heard of Groove Monkey and Keyfax Twiddly bits. Would you recommend the MIDI grooves from these companies? Do their MIDI grooves really take advantage of new sample libraries with multi velocity layers etc?

Well, concerning velocity layers - yes, otherwise not that much.
Groovemonkee offers support for specific VI or apps (Reason, BFD, etc.)
But that is not always a disadvantage! I found it pretty interesting when trying the free demo of Groovemonekee world beats with Yellowtools Culture and it is great form the articulation by shifting the midi event to one or another articulation. At least for the single instrument grooves - for the multi-instrument grooves it is sometimes hard to come up with good results
