My wife got me a nano 4Gig...but I'm trying to think of some application for it....If I got the 80 Gig Video player can I hook it into a laptop and disk stream? Can I use it to store samples...such as Wusik or Kontakt stuff? I just don't know which one to get.

What's your opinion?

80 gig hd's are going to be faster than an ipod by a long shot I would imagine. Stick with the four gig and use it for what it is made for and then use the extra savings from not getting a video version to buy a dedicated sample streaming drive. Just my 2 cents.
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".

iPod drives are incredibly slow. I doubt you'll be able to stream anything worth while off 'em. Atleast for now.

even just for storage or previewing?

For storage you don't need to spend $250-$350 for 60-80GB of storage. Buy a cheap IDE hard drive and an IDE to USB cable such as this:

I say keep the 4 gig and use it for what it's meant for :)
