I agree you could prob do some "jazzy stuff" with EWQLSO, but you could probably also create a wood carving with a crowbar!
Sometime, you just look for "that sound". It really doesn't matter what library it is in. It just works. I see nothing wrong in suggesting orchestral sounds. They might just be what he wants. HIS ears will tell. It was only a suggestion.
Remind me to use a Rhodes next time I am reciting a piano concerto.
