Sorry xis. There MAY be an evaluation reset at some point, but it will be after the Beta offer has expired. So if you think you liked it, save yourself $60 and activate it now... BECAUSE...

(...funny, I was just about to open this thread when your post came in...)

...0.90 is up!!! :hyper: I still have to update the website (tomorrow, need SLEEP) but if you download it from the site, yes, it's 0.90!

0.90 IS OUT!!! As well as an instrument, Poly-Ana now also comes as a VST effect, Poly-AnaFX! You can run external sounds through Poly-Ana's filters and amplifiers AND/OR you can use external sounds to modulate Poly-Ana's sound parameters!

Beta 0.90 is "Release Candidate 1 / RC1". We're "feature-complete" and now in final testing. Send in your bug reports! This is the end of the Beta period, and the end of the $60 off "Buy-in-Beta" offer.

If you haven't tried it yet, TRY IT NOW! You have a FREE, one week, FULLY FUNCTIONING evaluation period. Release of version 1.0 will depend on how this final testing period goes, but it won't be before March 1st. YOU HAVE (at least) TWO WEEKS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OFFER.

I'll make a more formal announcment tomorrow but wanted to get it out for you ASAP. 'Night!

If I already have a registered version on my system, how do I update to the .90 version? Does the download demo also work as an updater, or do I have to uninstall the prior version, install the .90 version, and then re-authorize?

Yes, just run the latest installer. If you're already authorized you still will be! Your key persists.

And if you're already a Poly-Ana owner calex, feel free to email support (at) admiralquality.com! We're (I'm) here for you. :)

Sounds good. I'm looking forward to checking out the new version. I hope you can find someone that will help you out on setting up the presets. That's a huge job to do yourself, and sometimes best left to a specialist in sound design.

I agree with that.

I think the presets must be organized in categories, like :
- BASS
- PADS
- ATMOSPHERES
- LEADS
- SYNTHS
- EFFECTS...

I hope we'll have at least something like 256 presets to play with :).

And please, hire some professionals like Pro Sounds and others...

Somehow I really like this beast , not only the GUI ist big also the sound (and the CPU load :-o, but hey soon we'll have multi-multicores). Furthermore I like to support independent VST developers, so I finally jumped in and bought it. Thanks to AQ for a nice addition to my growing VSTi collection (should think about making music soon )

Price will double as far as I know...so, $120.00 if you wait.

Congrats on .90 AQ! Was just playing with it now:

Free patch for you all

It's in pap format.

Hey Admiral,

The volume setting isn't saved within the PAP files...is it supposed to be that way? If so, any chance of changing that?

Thanx 8)

HI

I tried this when the first demo was available - unfortunately I forgot about it and now can't retry as (having uninstalled the old demo and installing the new one) I get a message stating the demo period is up.

Perhaps a new demo that allows people to revisit the synth?

Or (and I remember people getting SERIOUSLY OTT about it) a nice low noise burst version!

Flipper.

Same here. But it's been gnawing at me since my demo version expired. So I just took the plunge. It was a good move because it's a fine synth.

I think Ill demo this.
