I actually managed to fool a few people, including classical musicians, into thinking these were not electronic. I think they show some good out-of-box sound quality for Philharmonik considering that nothing else was done to them other than some basic reverb added.

Hi Andrew. I like them both, and I think they trully show how expressive the sounds can be by their own. Was this also done with the miro reverb?
PS: Why not post these two in the eSoundz-competition going on right now?

thanks, i never considered putting them into competition. where do i find out about it?

i think these used the built-in Lexicon reverb in Sonar, but probably they might have also had the CSR turned on, I can't remember. glad you like them and thanks for listening!

The competition? Its the very first thread on this forum ("The first ESOUNDZ IK/SR demo contest!"), at the top of the page. The final day to submit your demo is february 28 and there is a maximum limit of 5 contributions each, and each song must not be more than 5 minutes in lenght. Also, you can only use IK and Sonic Reality products in your demo. Just read the thread and you'll know. There has been a lot of changes in the competiton rules since this first started out, but what I wrote here pretty much sums up the current rules (I think)..
