I just don't remember if the library-program works in windows XP (i think yes), but this program serves only as a way of inform you about features of each midi song, instead you read the txt file.

Nevertheless the midi samples are first class. In my opinion unveileivable for that price.

They come as full songs ( around 3 minutes) so you need to work it a bit if you need to use just only some beats, but it's easy, import the full midi song to your host and cut it¡¡¡

being that said 50$ for the download version is a no brainer decision because it comes with A LOT of samples that has a very nice feeling( non-robotic). IMO it's a must have.

A scaled down version of Drumtrax midi grooves came with Sonar 2. At the time I bought the full library and have used it alot. It was about $25 then.

Another good source of midi grooves is Groove Monkee. Russ has some very nice libraries and they will work with BFD, DFH, Guru, EZDrummer and Reason as well as General Midi. I have most of Groove Monkee's libraries and they're very well done. The naming convention makes it easy to find what I need.

BTW, I'm not associated with Groove Monkee, I just like their products.
