Hey

Anyone have any ideas how is this effect on voice done? It sounds like shuffled words with some kind of reversed delay, but if listened carefully, you can find out that words are not shuffled.

You can listen it here:

ji,
it's just a distortion,maybe little chorus and a lot of compression-that's it!

There's some double tracking of seperate performances (which may be why you're hearing a 'shuffly' quality on the vocals) with different processing on each part going on here.

There's a distorted vocal dead centre but if you listen to the right channel you can clearly hear a more harsh distortion being applied to a different performance.

Woah. Thats a sick effect.

Yeah definatly sounds like two seperate performances with different distortion on each ear, but I suppose you could pull something off similar by modulation a stereo spread effect.

For the separate effect try a delay with separate left and right values and almost no feedback. Then distortion and yes compression. HTH
