I have Stylus RMX and the following paks from esoundz :

Rex Pak: Nashville Pop Grooves
Rex Pak: Blues Grooves
Rex Pak: Country Folk Rhythms

The problem I have is with their drum-loops within these paks

I can't get it right when I use them in RMX nor if I import the loops in Cubase via rex2 import.
The basic REX-PAK drum loops are fine "in beat".
Whereas when I use the drum fills they are "off-beat". ( shifted )
I would have to fine adjust them for the right position, which is almost impossible in practice.

Has anybody a clue what I'm doing wrong ?

Cheers
Steve

Do you have any specific files you can mention for us to look at? I'd say it is probably because different fills go with different grooves and have some loose feel to them that can be quantized or shifted as needed. We just keep it natural as the drummer plays it. Some people have said they wanted everything perfect and quantized but it's actually better to have it with natural feel (sometimes behind the beat, sometimes with some drift) because it is easier to take a groove like that and quantize it than it is to take a quantized groove and make it sound "loose" and "humanized".
