Get your mind out of the gutter, hey, is there anyone here that can possibly answer this question about the Wavestation EX ?

I just purchased the Wavestation EX ( I know...why when I could have bought the VSTi...I already have that ) I always wanted the Wavestation synth, as one of my music heroes
used it extensively in the 90's..well anyway...here's my question:

and from what I understand, I need a USB to MIDI cable
to laod the patches, problem is I spent all of my money
upgrading my home studio that I do not have the money to buy the USB to MIDI, so my question is this,

I currently have my Edirol PCR-80 connceted to my
computer via USB, so is it possible to take a MIDI cable
and run that from the OUT on my PCR-80 to the IN on my Wavestation and load the sounds that way ? I really
don;t have a really good understanding of MIDI as of yet,
so I am just looking for an experienced person in this
sort of thing.

Any help or suggestioned will be welcomed and appreciated..
