Hi all,

Is there anywhere I can get a copy of the Emulator 2 libary? I'm particularly looking for the ''Marcato strings'' sound as I as told it was this sound used by the Pet Shop Boys on this clip.

It's the 'ruff' string played by Neil.

Are there any comercial sample cd's that do the Emulator?

p.s I've tried Nostalgia but it's not on.

thomann (www.thomann.de) were selling "emulator standards" sampling cd in a bundle with three other cd-roms , but i can't find it anymore. anyway, look for "emulator standards" and "more emulator standards". but be warned, the sample are quite "old school", no velocity layers or such as far as i remember. if you like the style the cd's are fine, but be sure not to pay more far more than 10-20 euro per cd, as 10 euro was about the price thomann charged for them.

i have all 8 of those, thay came with my old E-MU sampler,

never loaded them once
