Wasp seems like a cool little synth for $29.00. I know that it is realtively old but I was wondering if anyone still uses it, if you still like it, and how many presets are included?

Judging by the lack or replies, I'd guess it's safe to assume that Wasp is too old to be of any value to anyone.

Wasp is a nice little synth. With character all of its own.Quite an edgy sound to it.It also comes with wasp xt so you get 2 synths for the price of one.I like both simsynthlive and wasp. They are both va but simsynth has a fuller sound while wasp has a more cutting sound. It all depends what sort of sounds your looking for.

Thanks for the info Resonator - a twofer deal is always nice - what about the factory pres - I'm a real preset whore - how many and are they good?Resonator63 wrote:Wasp is a nice little synth. With character all of its own.Quite an edgy sound to it.It also comes with wasp xt so you get 2 synths for the price of one.I like both simsynthlive and wasp. They are both va but simsynth has a fuller sound while wasp has a more cutting sound. It all depends what sort of sounds your looking for.
btw - a dash of reverb will turn almost any edgy VSTi into amazingly beautiful instrument!

Wasp vsti has 130 presets and wasp xt has 40. I have a set of 31 bass patches that I got off section z which are quite nice as well.

still waiting for Wasp XT in VST form... still being advertised (naughtily) on FL's shop...

Description: WASP is a complex subtractor using 2 oscillators. Downloadable Version. Contains both WASP & WASP XT. You will receive both the FL & VSTi version.

So if I ordered the down-loadable version of WASP, expecting to get VST versions of both WASP and WASP XT as advertised, I'd actually get WASP VST and WASP XP DXi?fandango wrote:still waiting for Wasp XT in VST form... still being advertised (naughtily) on FL's shop...Description: WASP is a complex subtractor using 2 oscillators. You'd get Wasp (FL, VSTi and DXi) and Wasp XT (FL). Once Wasp XT VSTi is finished, you'd get that too.
The reason Wasp XT VSTi isn't finshed yet is that there are a few bugs I'd like to see fixed first, but I can't fix them myself atm.

the rhythm lead there is WaspXT, with a touch of delay.
