Are there any online tutorials to show you how to connect a synth to your sequencer? I can't seem to get my synths to work. I need to connect my Roland Jp-8080 and my Clavia Nord Lead. Any help is appreciated.

Go to VST-connections and add the correct bus that your synth is hooked up to (Line in i guess) - at least thats how i got my alesis ion to work. If you want to record the audio then, just add an audio track and select the bus you're synth is hooked up to as the tracks INPUT. You can change the name in the same window to your synths name, so its easy to find next time (oh and save the preset for the bus config)

I forgot to mention you need to switch the monitor button on on the track. (next to record enable)
